It primarily comprises private documentation, which is of great interest to Gipuzkoa because of the importance of the surnames of the following families: Ayerdi, Moyua, Tompes, Am\u00e9zqueta, Lopeola, Alzaga, Empar\u00e1n, Adarraga and Mazarredo.
