They first appeared as a Supplement to the Journal in 1988 from the idea of publishing the incoming members lectures delivered by the latest Full Members. The Commission of Gipuzkoa began its publication in 1988 with "La "Nación de Vizcaya" en la Universidad castellana en la Edad Moderna" by Luis Enrique Rodríguez-San Pedro Bezares and "Rafael de Floranes o la defensa de la Paleografía" by Mª Rosa Ayerbe Iribar. The Commission of Bizkaia in 1989: Incoming member lectures by Francisco de Abrisqueta, José Guimón Ugartechea, Kosme Mª de Barañano Letamendia and Mario Ángel Marrodán. The Commission of Álava, in 1995: Incoming member lectures by Alberto Figueroa Laraudogoitia, Juan José Ortiz de Mendívil Dañobeitia, Juan Carlos da Silva and Juan Antonio Zárate Pérez de Arrilucea. A similar publication entitled "Trabajos de Ingreso" (incoming member works) by Amelia Baldeón Inigo was printed in 1984. The Delegación en Corte (Office at Court) began publishing in 1995: "Ensayo apologético de los oriundos y naturales vascongados, en la Económica Matritense del siglo XVIII".
